dvdneal Posted September 17, 2015 Report Posted September 17, 2015 I work in county government and every now and then things like this come across my desk that I just have to laugh at. This is an actual New Jersey traffic sign: You can read the story behind it here: http://www.app.com/story/news/traffic/commuting/2015/09/15/road-sage-parkway-bodies/72276888/ bobscroll, Scrolling Steve and Lucky2 3 Quote
Gordster Posted September 17, 2015 Report Posted September 17, 2015 Ha, you just can't slow down to dump, you have to stop first lol Quote
merlin Posted September 17, 2015 Report Posted September 17, 2015 Funny for the masses but I knew what it meant, but I read the article first. But yeah it does read strange. Quote
rjR Posted September 17, 2015 Report Posted September 17, 2015 Well having hauled with dump bodies-- grain-gravel coal--DIRT@! Even used the hoist to unload lumber! It is pretty easy to figure out! I know a man that took a wall out of a grain elevator--due to that "slight" error! Quote
amazingkevin Posted September 17, 2015 Report Posted September 17, 2015 Happens to the best of us  Quote
wombatie Posted September 18, 2015 Report Posted September 18, 2015 You just can't dump and roll anymore. Marg Quote
WigWag Workshop Posted September 19, 2015 Report Posted September 19, 2015 I can't for the life of me figure this one out.. What exactly does it mean? -Steven Quote
LarryEA Posted September 19, 2015 Report Posted September 19, 2015 Hit that bridge. Actually, I saw a video of a truck hitting an overhead sign. Cost somebody at least a bunch of money. Quote
Rob Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 Here is a sign for you from near where I live in New Zealand. Lucky2 1 Quote
Muzz Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 Never got a photo unfortunately, but near where I live they had a "Road to Recovery" sign, which is a campaign showing how the roads have improved and funded. Unfortunately it was placed at the turn-off to the local Cemetery - oops. Lucky2 1 Quote
