amazingkevin Posted October 4, 2015 Report Posted October 4, 2015 (edited) My outside shop under a pop up canopy 9'.6'' square has spray cans of paint in 5 gallon buckets,7 of them laying on their sides and stacked that way. Then i have aromatic cedar in two full sized garbage cans with lids, a stand up silent air compressor 30 gallon tank.two extension cords,a roll around table with 2 belt sanders 2 drill presses and a mini band saw on it.A stand up rubber maid outside 6' cabinet with double doors loaded to the gills with stains 50% unopened.3 vacuum cleaners the Dewalt scroll saw on wheels,a 6" tall 6" wide shelf unit next to the house loaded with short hardwood pieces in 56 gallon buckets laying on their side also maybe 15 of these.a table saw with another table saw on top of it one bid 10'' and one small 7" Not bad for workable hobby tools. Then there is 6 -5 gallon buckets with my food growing in them and 3 lemon grass plants in 3 more buckets all next to the fence. And 4 full sheets of ply wood for a floor when i move things around so i can roll things around when needed.I'm wondering what the insurance inspectors going to say about all this ?Anybody has some info for me? I can take pictures tomorrow check back! Edited October 4, 2015 by amazingkevin Quote

Lucky2 Posted October 5, 2015 Report Posted October 5, 2015 Kevin, personally I don't think you have anything to worry about, what you own isn't insured under your landlady's insurance. The only thing that might make a difference, is if your attached to the dwelling. If so, then they could ask, or make you move it away from the house. Personally, I think that your landlady is a angel or a saint to allow you to have all that clutter in her backyard. There's not many people who would allow it, your very lucky to have her as a landlady. I hope things work out for you, it would be a shame if you had to move all of your stock. Len Quote
LarryEA Posted October 5, 2015 Report Posted October 5, 2015 Len... I thought it was the ' front yard '. Personally, I think that your landlady is a angel or a saint to allow you to have all that clutter in her backyard. Kevin, clear this up, will you please. Quote
jerry1939 Posted October 6, 2015 Report Posted October 6, 2015 Because you mentioned it, I suspect that in the back of your mind you have doubts/concerns about insurance. IF it were me (and it's not), I would check with the Fire Department and your insurance claims adjuster. Ultimately they would be Judge & Jury. Personally I would sleep better after hearing from them. jerry Quote
