I found this site in an ad and was able to capture figures of various things it also has a word generator with many types of fonts as well as some pictures that I was able to put in my pictures and print out as patterns.I saw no copyright notice so legal or not??any one have a comment? any how here is the link.

I would have to say taking anything off of a website like this is copyright infringement.

Many of those images are trademarks. If they are legit, they probably purchased the vinal pattern from a distributor which they have the rights to use. The other images may or may not fall in public domain. Either way, I wouldn't chance it. The website isn't there to distribute clipart. They are there to sell those images as vinyl decals, so you'd definitely be using their images without permission. As far as the fonts, most of them are readily available on the internet from sites like DaFont. You'd probably get better results by just downloading the font and using a graphics program to type them out.

I just finished looking at that site. The Wallworks holds the copyright on every image on that website. They would have purchased licensing for the Trademark items that they sell. Using any of those items would not only violate the websites copyright to those specific images, but would violate the trademark rights of those respective companies.

 

A good rule of thumb is to never use any images unless you can positively identify them as being in the public domain. If you are not sure, just contact the website and ask. Many times they will allow you to use something if they understand how you intend to use it. This may even include selling the finished products.
