wdkits1 Posted December 18, 2009 Report Posted December 18, 2009 I have a client that presents my Eagle boxes to new Eagle Scouts every year. Here are some pics of the latest one. Quote
Clayton717 Posted December 20, 2009 Report Posted December 20, 2009 Very nice Mike. How is the zebra wood to work with? Quote
wdkits1 Posted December 20, 2009 Author Report Posted December 20, 2009 Thanks Clayton I do a few of these eagle boxes every year. I like working with the Zebrawood. I works like red oak. You do have to pay attention when running through the planer as it can be susceptible to tear out. It glues good and finishes very nicely. Quote
Travis Posted December 21, 2009 Report Posted December 21, 2009 That turned out great. Good place to hold scouting awards. Did you make the box, or was this a customer made item? It turned out beautiful, either way. Thanks for sharing! Quote
wdkits1 Posted December 22, 2009 Author Report Posted December 22, 2009 Thanks all for the comments To Travis--I made this box for my customer who buys several of them from me each year. Quote
