  6. Depending on the project I'm cutting. I usually do my scrolling after work, so I scroll until I feel done for the night. Most times I'll scroll for an hour or two, other times maybe only 20 minutes. During long scrolling times I might get up for 5 to 10 minutes for a break
  7. Great cutting
  8. It has been quite some time since I have posted, I have dropped in and caught up on some reading. On one of those visits I found a pattern by Jim Blume(Thank you) and decided to cut it. This is my cutting of Jim's Yellowstone. I stack cut 3 out of 1/8" Baltic Birch. measures 16 x 20 and is framed using 100+ year old elm barn board. Just over 14 hours of cutting using spiral blades. Again, Thank you Jim for sharing the pattern.
  9. I always stack cut my portraits. Usually 3 at a time buti use 1/8" Baltic birch. I have cut some as big as 16x20.
  10. I'm still here. I check in every now and then. Just don't post much. Busy in the shop and with life.

  15. latest cutting. I stack cut 3 in 1/8" Baltic birch. 8 x 10. I tried 2 different backers, which do you prefer. I always use black so I'm just not sure. Pattern is by H. Botas
  16. Depends on the project I'm working on. I sign the back of fretwork before framing, then apply an address label with my name and info on the back. If it don't get a frame I sign it with a fine tip marker. The address labels are small versions of my business cards I order from Vista print. Other projects I use wood coins I call them( like Don showed above) i have them in a few different sizes. Everything that leaves my shop has my signature on it o e way or another. Except my small turnings li,e pens.
