  1. One of the most soothing voices ever. I had always heard Charlie Chaplin wrote Smile, and I hated that because he was apparently not a good man at all, marrying teenagers, treating women badly and such. I love the lyrics and it tainted it for me thinking he wrote them. Turns out he did write the music but not the words. Silly I guess but I’m glad
  2. No. Paul got it. Nat King Cole.
  3. Yes!
  4. Haven’t done one of these in a while. Can you identify this crooner? He always makes me smile. ***Paul, @Fab4 got it with Nat King Cole. I wouldn’t have picked this piece of oak out because of the busy grain, but it was a piece I had left over from making a threshold and he’ll just be on my wall so I can live wth it. Smile!
  5. Great work on a very intricate pattern! I hate spirals too. I know they have their place and I have some but I rarely use one. Most of my patterns have sharp inside corners and those two don't get along well. So sorry about your pain. My wife and I can sympathize.
  6. In her eyes, it will be your finest work. Way to go Grandma.
  7. Thanks to @Fab4 for the help on this piece for my grandson’s new music themed bedroom. 12” diameter.
  8. I love those! Hope you’re feeling better.
  9. Beautiful project, Paul. I’m afraid I need a swear jar in my shop.
  10. Thank you! I did the pattern. Sent you a PM.
  11. Thank you! I rewatched it last night.
  12. Tom Selleck, as Matthew Quigley, from Quigley Down Under. If you don’t know why it says “Roy” you should watch the movie. Unlike me and Tom, it has aged well. Cut in 1/2” white oak. About 7” x 8”.
  13. Beautiful job and unique as always. Love the Dogwood flowers.
  14. Thanks so much for the kind words!
