Forstner Bit Help

Anyone know where I can get a 29mm Forstner bit? I want to make bottle cap holders and 1-1/8" and 28mm are just a bit too small and 30mm is too large. Google only showed one result but the bit cost over $80!

I also did a search and they are showing that 1-1/8" as being 29mm

I know this is no help to you but just thought I would mention it

I see nothing for Forstners. You may have to modify a spade bit. Just a thought.

The spade bits are very common ,easy to find most any place.Lots of times the variety bin at the hardware store has them for under $6.00 a set

Forstners = not cheap. Good luck on the custom job.

Maybe make a jig and use a flat bottom router bit? Something similar to making a router cut bowl?

Just a thought.
