Bpardue Posted March 4, 2016 Author Report Posted March 4, 2016 Steve, The only things I use to sand & shape my pieces are: A stationary sander with both a 5"disk & a belt sander (not used much) A flexible drum sander on a converted variable speed bench grinder - flex drum grit is either 80 or 120 depending on the wood A Dremel with various attachments - 2 different drum sanders, cone sander, cutoff wheels & grinding stone (tempered) for texturing, a couple of carving bits. A sanding mop I do a lot of hand sanding as well When you are in the Winston Salem area look me up or let me know when you are in the area. If you are in the area on March 14th, I'm giving a class at Klingspor in Winston Salem for the Carolina Scollers. starts at 6pm. I'm showing how I shape intarsia and get the depth.
