jerry1939 Posted March 28, 2016 Report Posted March 28, 2016 Hi ChelCass, Don't you just love it the way computers have a mind of their own? PLEASE tell your Friend NOT to operate the saw while on his back, as shown. I'm sure he will greatly appreciate your kind thoughtfulness. Remind him to keep telling you that "You're a Keeper." jerry ChelCass 1 Quote
Birchbark Posted March 28, 2016 Report Posted March 28, 2016 That's very nice. He's a lucky guy. To have you for his girl, and to have a nice saw like that. Now i hope you've modified his "to do list" to include all the new projects he can get done! Russell Quote

ChelCass Posted March 28, 2016 Author Report Posted March 28, 2016 Kevin, No Harbor Freight saw for me. I have two Craftsman and a Heger, I don't need any more. The story behind Larry getting this saw is: He has a miter saw but it is a single bevel and has a small cutting ability. This one is a double 45 deg. bevel and will cut a 13Inch board. Larry recently ripped all the carpet in his house (bedroom, dining room and living room) and installed laminate flooring. His Miter saw was not able to cut the boards the way he needed. HF had this saw on sale for $194 and change, however HF puts out a monthly sales flyer and in this flyer this saw was on sale for $137 and change................................Now what would you do!!! ps. plus we are going up to my house and put all new laminate flooring thru out my house so I can put it up for sale.
