My friend and I made this mahogany box in order for me to show him how to make box joint corners.  We used a shop made jig that I made years ago.  It is made of 3/8" thick African Mahogany and measures 16"x6"x8".  Finished with a Rustolium rattle can of "clear finish." gloss.  He bought the hardware at Home Depot and had to paint some of it.

Nicely done Jim, the joints are are perfect. I've always planned to make a jig to do this with, just never got around to doing so. Seeing this, makes me think I should make one.
