Jim Finn Posted June 2, 2016 Report Posted June 2, 2016 My friend and I made this mahogany box in order for me to show him how to make box joint corners. We used a shop made jig that I made years ago. It is made of 3/8" thick African Mahogany and measures 16"x6"x8". Finished with a Rustolium rattle can of "clear finish." gloss. He bought the hardware at Home Depot and had to paint some of it. Lucky2 and oldhudson 2 Quote

Lucky2 Posted June 2, 2016 Report Posted June 2, 2016 Nicely done Jim, the joints are are perfect. I've always planned to make a jig to do this with, just never got around to doing so. Seeing this, makes me think I should make one. Len Quote
