I started these the first part of this year then got bored with them so I put it off. Well Christmas will be here before you know it so I thought I better get busy. I built four of these and building multiples of thing is something I don't like. I like building something different each time. Any way one goes to my wife, another to my daughter, and the other two go to my nieces. These are made of western cedar that I bought at Home Depot. Also there is about 50 slats in the roof.

Those are beautiful and will be well received.  Will definitely become family heirlooms that come out all the time.  We have a very large nativity manager scene that my MIL used to put out - then she passed it on to us.  (Think she got tired of it after so many years  ;)    It was built for her by a long time family friend who was like grandparents to my husband and his siblings.  We have probably had it for at least 15 years.  She probably had it for that many or more before that.  Its always the first Christmas thing that gets setup by my DD.  Besides that nativity - we have at least 4 or 5 more small ones - she insists on setting them all up every year.  They are all each different and came from different people places.
