Here’s a fun little project, just in time for Halloween. I used a cedar fence board to make these cute segmented candy corns. It features a rough and rustic look. I show you how to add a aged patina to the project for a vintage folk art feel. This project can be easily batched out and finished very quickly to add to your spooky Halloween decor. Ha!  That's awesome!  Nicely done.  I've been experimenting a lot with this technique over the last few months.  I really like the rough, folkart feel.

I love the look too. I do a similar thing for creating "distressed" wood for signs. Paint cheap wood grey, sand it down then top with a medium stain, then cut. Gives it sort of that barn wood look.

Wish i could watch this but movies eat all my internet time.When i painted holiday windows on store fronts candy corns stood out the most.
