Looking for a good planer

I'm looking to by a new planer and was wondering if anyone had any advice as to which one to get. Thanks in advance Jeff

I have a Porter Cable that I like. I have only used it a couple of times. But it does that job it is suppose to do. I don't have the funds to get a Dewalt.

I have a Dewalt 735 13" planer, I've had it for years and I've never had a problem with it.

Found on craigs list,used once he says,for $100.very loud like a tree chipper and 13.5 bite.I love it.

I could not drop the money for a Dewalt Planer.So after some research i ended up with a Wen.Now they still make two Models 13" and a 12.5".I bought the 13" because it has a 3 Blade cutting head and it is also 15 Amp.The Specs are close to the Dewalt But the Wen does not have all of the Bells and Whistles.As far as snipe ,They all suffer from it.I went on YouTube and watched a few videos on how to Minimize snipe.The Wen works great so far

I have a 12" Craftsman that has served my purpose for many years. I've been very pleased with the quality and results.
