Dewalt Table saw

People I'm in need of a new table saw, I have an old Tanner 8 inch saw made and sold in New Zealand around the 1920's.

 

I'm looking at the Dewalt 245mm 1850 watt saw priced in NZ at $1000.00. USA price $703.00.

Any help appreciated........Has anyone got one of these saw's or........................

I do have a Dewalt table saw and I really love it, I purchased a better blade for it do to some ripping and it did a fantastic job.

I find the saw to be accurate and reliable

I have an older Dewalt DW744 that I really like. The fence is very accurate, and easy to set.

DW745 called a jobber worksite saw.

Hi Merlin,

 

Mitre 10 had $100 off the DW745 a while back.  It might be worth haggling to see if they will budge on the price again.

I had one before we went full-timing in our RV and loved it. It was very accurate and easy to use. Would love to get another one now that we are off the road.
