NC Scroller Posted November 16, 2016 Report Posted November 16, 2016 For the number of times I need it I just can't justify paying Adobe $180 a year for their PDF editor. Looking for recommendations on a lower cost editor. I know there might be some free tools out there but I worry that free software often contains virus and spyware. My basic use will be to allow me to copy and paste parts of PDF documents into Inkscape or other like tools. Quote
Phantom Scroller Posted November 16, 2016 Report Posted November 16, 2016 Scott there are all kinds of PDF writers that do editing as well take a look at this one. Roly http://www.pdfwriter.com/ NC Scroller 1 Quote
WayneMahler Posted November 16, 2016 Report Posted November 16, 2016 I use PDF Architect for this. The one Roly showed is much cheaper to purchase. NC Scroller 1 Quote

I prefer to use a screen shot utility, take a screen shot of the pdf, I use zscreen (free) but many like snagit. In both you can set the utility preference to automatically open the graphic program and paste it there. I have the adobe suite, pdf's can be a PITA to manipulate IMO NC Scroller 1 Quote
