G'day everyone.  Hope you are all in tip top condition.  Well it's a hot 30C here today and very windy but the wind is keeping the temperature down.  I have one big wasted afternoon.  I spent one and a half hours cutting a VERY intricate pattern and it broke, I thought that it might so it was no big surprise.  Don't know if it was the heat or what but the ply bent so there was a lot of bounce and also there were hundreds of tiny little flies that hindered the action, all very annoying.  However I just said tomorrow is another day and got some more ply ready for cutting tomorrow, ready for action.  Hope you have had  a better day.  Stay safe everyone.

It's Thursday and for some, 'Remember, the weekend is just around the corner.'

For ya'll that are like me, 'You forget what day it is.' 

I've been reminded that I need to bring in more firewood. Get prepaired  for a bit of temperature change this weekend.

Speaking of this weekend, this Saturday is the opening day for hunting deer with a gun.

                                             

This changes some things for me. Have to consider leaving the horses in the barn for 

a few days. Most hunters are careful. I have a couple days to consider what I'll do.

I've done a few large projects drapeing over the sides of the saw with over 500 holes in it.Every move thinking it was my last.I know your work an you tend to chose the most beautiful ones to do but very intricate with many many holes so close to each other,better luck next time ,sorry to here that happened

We are setting records for warmth this week but with cold coming.  I am trying to get an order finished, nothing very great just outline shapes in 1/8" bb but she wants 17 dz of them.

Have been having trouble concentrating lately as news from the Dr. isn't great.  Met with the oncologist last week and we both decided that radiation wasn't feasible for me.  He said if I do nothing then I probably have 5 yrs before it spreads and the other option is a high risk procedure to inject radioactive seeds.  The high risk is that I am allergic to anesthesia.

Like Kepy - warmer here but cold weather is coming in for the weekend.  I think Mother Nature is having too much fun on this seesaw with the weather of late!

 

Kepy, I am sorry to hear that you have not had good news from the Doctor.  I would explore getting other opinions if that is possible and see if there are other alternatives for you. Will say a prayer for you and yours as you continue down this difficult path to see if you can find the right path for you.

I am so sorry that the news wasn't good.  Is there no way you could have the procedure without the anesthetic?   I would be looking into alternative ways.

Roly, no taking it back,you are on borrowed time now,the cat is out of the bag,if i was you i'd go up in one of those air frames you design and loosen a few screws, better than Marg ...
