dansnow Posted December 19, 2016 Report Posted December 19, 2016 (edited) I have almost all the bits cut out for another of my dragon toys. Not shown are the axles, the cams and the eyes. It started from a design I found in a woodworking magazine a few years ago. I fiddled and tweaked the design, making minor changes here, major changes there, till I ended up with this one. When finished, the mouth opens and closes, all 4 legs "walk", the wings swing up and down, and the tail bobs up and down. This one is being made from black walnut, maple and cherry. Thanks for looking. Edited December 29, 2016 by dansnow DeenaKay, banderson, Lucky2 and 1 other 4 Quote

GPscroller Posted December 21, 2016 Report Posted December 21, 2016 Looks like a puzzle waiting to come to life. Waiting to see it all assembled. Looking good so far. Thanks for the pic. Jeff Quote

dansnow Posted December 29, 2016 Author Report Posted December 29, 2016 After about 10+ hours of work I got all the pieces ready for finish, just waiting for the weather to warm up a bit. All the actions have been verified, and the pre-assembly in the body and head area. Quote
Nic Posted March 31, 2017 Report Posted March 31, 2017 Those look very nice; the end product is quite neat for the simplicity of some of the cuts. Very cool project, looking forward to seeing your dragon army finished! Quote
