Please help with a bible stand pattern

Please help with a pattern for a Bible stand. looking for the folding kind to have an open Bible on. I know they are from one piece of wood I just am really bad at making patterns. If someone could help I would be grateful. Thank you in advance.

Thank you these are cool. I should have been clearer about the type of stand. I am needing a pattern for the type that folds open sideways. Like you put on a coffee table.

Welcome to the Forum.  Yeah, maybe a picture would help clarify just what you want.  I don't want to spend a lot of time on a pattern that you don't want.  Were you thinking of something like these?

that first pic is perfect for what we are trying to do. how much would a pattern run for that? i know it takes quite a bit of work to make one. Thank you for replying and offering to to help me.

I don't think that book holder was cut from one piece of wood.  If it possibly was, then it would hvae to be done on a band saw, not a scroll saw.  The pattern is more than i can picture in my head.  A person might be able to do some trial and error and come up with something.  That is what i would suggest you do if you can't find a pattern and you have a band saw.  lol.  It's more than i can get my head around.  Maybe someone can help you, but i can't.  Sorry.  I hope you'll post a picture of the finished project if you do find a way.  And...  share that pattern with us! lol.  I've tried drawing some things out, but it never works.

Hi Charles ,I googled your request and looked at images and could not find much different than what's been shown here.Wish i could have helped.Probably more info for us as to exactly how it should look and all .I've never seen a question we could not answer.Help us out some more as I'd like one myself.Even if you have to pencil u[p a simple draft of what you would like .We've many engineers here.Keep posting  ,Thanks friend.
