Falcon Posted March 18, 2017 Report Posted March 18, 2017 Bought a drillmaster from HF and a base from davessigns. The base made a world of difference in control of the trim router. Tried it out on a Charles Dering pattern. Lucky2, New Guy, worbler and 1 other 4 Quote
Scrappile Posted March 18, 2017 Report Posted March 18, 2017 (edited) Came out very nice. Much nicer than I would have expected. I didn't even know you could do that with a router. I guess you can now that I think of, like a man powered CNC. Very good work. Was it as much fun as using a scroll saw? Do you still have to drill starter holes or can you drill with the router bit? To me it is fun. Took 45 min from start to putting finish on. I outlined with profile bit and took bigger stuff out with a 90 deg bit. Thank you for your comment. amazingkevin 1 Quote
