Auto Draw

I just read that Google released a free "AUTODRAW" You do a rough sketch of a (bird)(fish) etc. etc., it will figure out what you are attempting and give you pictures of pre drawn objects. We use Windows 7 and cannot seem to load it. Appears to be for Chrome or Android.

 

Might have some use for pattern designers, but I think it's just a different type of Clip Art.

Just played around with it and it seems quite clever but boring. It works in the browser so you shouldn't have much trouble using it. As you have said, it's more clip art orientated and doesn't really give detailed drawings.
