The new forum format has been here for a few days now and I am getting use to it.  Fact is, I now feel pretty comfortable moving around this new village.  There are things that I really like better than the old format.  I had the old format and now the new set up so when I clicked Scroll Saw Village  on my favorites tool bar, it would display all the new posts since my last visit.  Now it shows all the new activity since my last visit which includes, new posts, posts with new responses, plus it shows when someone adds a picture to their album(s), when a new pattern is added to the pattern library and new blog entries.  In the old format, I did not know about the album , new patterns or blog entries unless I went to those places and looked.  I did not ever pay attention to Blog entries.  Now I read and enjoy them, there only seems to be one active one at present.

The way this new format works, when I read a post, blog or something, that item disappears from my list.  The old format it just stayed there and some times, well pretty often, I would open something and discover I had already read it once.  I like the new way better.  If I do want to go back to something I had read during my current visit, I can click on "Activity" in the menu bar and it will list every thing, only then things I have read, the title will not be high lighted so I know I have been there.  It also lists each entry on that post separately so you can find the exact response you wanted to re-read quickly.

I also like the way you can put pictures in posts.  It puts the picture right in the post at a size easy to look at, instead of a little icon at the bottom of the post that you have to click on to enlarge to look at.  (I know I didn't state that correctly, but you may know what I mean.)

So, I have settled into the new format of "The Village" and I am a very happy neighbor.  Hope others are enjoying it as much as I am.  Thank you one more time Travis!
