tonylumps Posted May 22, 2017 Report Posted May 22, 2017 I really like the EX. But the table has a lot to be desired. The table is worn down to the bare medal and I kept getting black rub marks on my work Really noticable on Maple. So i decided to use some Vinyl shelf paper that I had to cover the top.So far I cut about 5 puzzles and it is holding up fine and the wood just glides across the table,Except with one mishap with a blade that came loose. So I ordered some thicker counter top Vinyl to try out.If any of these so called tool Manufacturers would just ask any SSV member what they would like or dislike in a Scroll Saw I think they would have a winner Quote
hawkeye10 Posted May 22, 2017 Report Posted May 22, 2017 Good idea Tony. I will have to try that. I already have some shelf paper. Quote
Scrappile Posted May 22, 2017 Report Posted May 22, 2017 Seyco use to sell a magnetic top that fit the Excalibur for around $19. They are out of stock now probably because they are not selling Ex any more. I bet you could buy one that is for the new Seyco saw and cut it to fit. They may not have them on their site but I bet they well have in the near future. Lucky2 1 Quote
