painting ornaments with Gel pens?

I was wondering if you can use some type of gel pen to paint small ornaments, like xmas tree etc, I use baltic birch plywood mostly. I am not crafty so I don't like painting.

There are "Paint Pen" that may work.  They are for wood among other surfaces.  You can even get them with different sizes of tips.

Bill, the best way to find out if it will work, is to take a piece of scrap material and try it on the scrap piece.
