Claymore Posted October 22, 2017 Report Posted October 22, 2017 (edited) Here's my latest project and as you can see its not Wildlife! Its actually a tattoo design I got off my mate and I fancied having a go at making a wooden one, the skull is Beech, the Guns are Oak with Walnut grips, The Roses are Sycamore dyed red and anything else is Oak. Size: 14 inch x 13 inch x 1 1/2" I still like to do non wildlife stuff but have that many animal projects I don't get the chance but every now and then I will make more Bikes etc and maybe more Rock Clocks as I am a big rock music fan. Hope ya like Brian Edited November 27, 2018 by Claymore Phantom Scroller, jbrowning, Scrolling Steve and 3 others 6 Quote
Scrolling Steve Posted October 22, 2017 Report Posted October 22, 2017 Excellent work on a unique piece ! Quote
meflick Posted October 23, 2017 Report Posted October 23, 2017 What a beautiful and stunning piece that you have crafted. Excellent work. It is its own form of "wild life" Thanks for sharing. I have been away from doing Intarsia for a while, been doing lots of puzzles and a couple of other things on my saw. The puzzles were a great way to work on my cutting tight corners and cutting on the lines. Hope to get back to some Intarsia pieces soon with better cutting skills thanks to my puzzle work. Quote
ScollSaw Slasher Posted October 23, 2017 Report Posted October 23, 2017 Fantastic piece. Spur me on to get away from just animals in my intarsia pursuits. And yes, I'm a frustrated heavy metal man myself. Quote
wombatie Posted November 2, 2017 Report Posted November 2, 2017 Oh WOW I love it. You did an excellent job. Marg Quote
