Hi.

Thank you to all in the past who have given me some excellent patterns. Now another please.

The photo is very recent and is  of my wife who is unfortunately in the early stages of dementia and a favourite son in law who is unlikely to be with us after Easter (lung cancer). I would like to give each a copy of this picture if it is possible to arrive at a pattern.

Thank you.

Bob H.

Bob, I cannot help you with your pattern requests as I am a newbie with the saw and haven't done much but basic work on a pattern or two and none were portraits.  I hope someone can help you.  I did want to say that I understand both of these issues having lost my dad to lung cancer many years ago now - an ugly disease and lost my mom last year after several years with Alzheimer's.  I think that may be an even uglier disease in many ways then my dad's lung cancer.  I will say prayers for you and your family as you deal with these tremendous health issues.

Hi "multitom" and "meflick",

Thank you for your replies.

I'll try to send a larger picture, the original was done with a phone so very small and I'm not at all proficient at altering photos other than "cropping" but it seems the black area still remains so the file is large. Anyhow I've tried, after all I'm asking for the help. I've converted the picture to "grayscale" and hopefully made it bigger. If it loads then perhaps with both the pictures a pattern is possible. If not thanks for your trouble.

As for the "life" problems, sometimes it never rains without it pouring, we now have a grandson, 34 yrs, diagnosed with 3rd stage bowl cancer.

Thanks again.

Hi Mahendra and others.

Here is the cut which is better than the photo of it, one of the subjects (before I told her) said "that looks like me". So thank you for the effort and trouble.

Regards. Bob H.

p.s. I really must learn how to print the pattern in red - so much easier to follow the lines (against black on black).

Thank you Mahendra, again I'm in your debt. Sorry about the quality of the pictures I posted.

Will post a picture of the finished cut.

Thanks again.
