  1. Hi, I have the 21 ins. saw and like it, I also have a Hegner "clone". Yes the saws are different but I reckon, once you cast your prejudices aside and get used to the PS then it works well and is a good saw. I've had a blade break and no problem finding the bottom clamp, it falls to the bottom of the saw. As for the comment about danger from the belts, have another look at the video and you will see that the belts are covered by the stand. The service, should you need it is excellent, even at the distance across the oceans as I am. Those are my comments for what they are worth. Bob H.

  3. Hi Don r, I also ought to have said that I thought that they were very good patterns. I'll have a go. Thanks, Bob H.
  4. Hi, Might be nitty picking but isn't the QUEEN H. M. and not H.R.H.? For Phillip I think H.R.H. is correct. Bob H.
  5. My cut from a 1935 era pattern from Hobbies of Dereham,.UK. This is the link:- and this is the picture - incase my linking doesn't work:- The 'village' picture is better than the 'Photobucket' one. Bob H.
  6. Hi, Might be a little late to help, and also I'm guesssing about the type of clamp! I had problems on a cheaper machine that I've got. I cut one side of the clamp as I reckoned that the poor old bolt (screw) had to fight the clamp as wella s hold the blade. If I can do it I'll post a picture of my adaption. Mind I'm no engineer - nor draughtsman as you'll see. It works for me. Hope it helps. Regards, Bob H.
