Kragax Posted November 8, 2017 Report Posted November 8, 2017 I have a pattern that I need to resize. The book says print at 170%, ha, my printer says no. What software would you use to resize this and have it print out over a couple pages? I used to have access to a great copy machine, then I retired. Suggestions? Quote
jerry1939 Posted November 8, 2017 Report Posted November 8, 2017 We have a great copy shop nearby that can make a copy too large to saw. Cost is less than the ink for our own printer. They use a heavy paper. Do you have something like an Office Max, Staples, etc.? Try your yellow pages. I keep a folder of different tings to take over and save a trip. txpitmaster 1 Quote
Denny Knappen Posted November 8, 2017 Report Posted November 8, 2017 I use Photoshop Elements. Before I scan into Photoshop, I draw a line down the center of the pattern. The scan the pattern, crop half the pattern, and resize for printing. Do the same for the other half. OCtoolguy 1 Quote
JOE_M Posted November 8, 2017 Report Posted November 8, 2017 Open the image in Paint (yes, that old program). use the Resize button to enlarge it, and then - Go to: File - Print - Page Setup, and under "Scaling" check the bottom box for "fit to" and set that to 2x2 or whatever layout it takes to get the # of pages you need to fit it on.
