Alot of people building this one...  I finally have all the pieces of Bruce Worthington's, The Guardian, all cut out, except for the teeth which are so small, that I will cut them after shaping.  175 pieces,  11 different types of wood.  If I am lucky, I hope to have it all shaped over the long Holiday weekend.  Time will tell...

I use Flying Dutchman Ultra Reverse blades in sizes 1, 3, and 5, size is dependent on the wood hardness and thickness.

Here is the latest update, everything except the head is shaped, and ready for final assembly.  I should have it all done this coming weekend.  Without a doubt, the most challenging piece I have made over the past 6 years of making Intarsia.

Beautiful work continuing.  I can imagine the challenges the piece presents.  Maybe one day I will try it but I don't know anyone into dragons so I am safe from having to try for a while.  Thanks for showing your progress.
