wombatie Posted March 8, 2018 Report Posted March 8, 2018 Well today is the day my boot is supposed to be off but not too sure if I should. I got my physiotherapy appointment but it's not until 21st March. So my dilemma is do I take the boot off and try to start walking on my foot slowly or keep it on until I see the Physiotherapist? I hurt my foot 7 weeks and 3 days ago.............I still haven't put full weight on it yet. Just don't know what to do. Marg Lucky2 1 Quote
WayneMahler Posted March 8, 2018 Report Posted March 8, 2018 Tough question to answer. I normally go by what my Drs. say but ........ How do you feel and how much do you trust them ? Quote
tgiro Posted March 8, 2018 Report Posted March 8, 2018 I would at least call the doc and ask. He may want to take a look before you start putting weight on it. Quote

meflick Posted March 8, 2018 Report Posted March 8, 2018 I would either call the doctor's office and/or the physiotherapist office and inquiry with them and see what they say. Quote
Gordster Posted March 8, 2018 Report Posted March 8, 2018 Marg, phyiso people may want it off before you go there..If you do take it off,use caution going diwn stairs. Apparently, our brains dont recognize the distance of the last step down when we have issues with our feet and knees. I found this out myself recently with my sore knee. Scarey for sure..If you are not sure, you should leave it on until you are with your dr. or physio people..take care girl and be well. Quote
