After a bout with lung cancer last summer and a broken hip a year ago I’m finally back but a lot less cutting I’m afraid (drs order) it’s good to be upright and I’ll try and put up a piece in the bragging rights I hope you guys will like my latest trivet I put up talk later

So happy you are back, we have missed you.  I hope that your health is somewhat better.  You said you are back to scrolling but a lot less cutting and then you post a photo of the trivet, I would not call that a lot less cutting.................I hope you are following doctors orders and that your family is taking care of you.

Thanks everyone the two pieces I’ve posted have taken me a long time to make I used to make these things in a few days where it took weeks to make these. It really doesn’t matter I’m just glad to have pulled through this it wasn’t easy especially doing it alone but I had some great friends who went above and beyond to pull me through this. Thanks again for all the well wishers hope to stick around for a while now I have one more cat scan in a couple of weeks then I’ll know for sure and it’s just a matter of healing.

Hello Hans, Glad you are back after 2 very serious back to back illnesses. Did you do anything different in the shop like move from standing to sitting at the saw, or angle the tabletop to make it easier to use.
