RabidAlien Posted May 25, 2018 Report Posted May 25, 2018 So I noticed recently, while working on a pattern (I'm still learning!) that when I have a blank page in GIMP and run the paintbrush around, I can click and hold the clicker and get a smooth, continuous stroke on the screen that faithfully follows my over-caffeinated jitters. When I have an image up, though, that same paintbrush produces what I can only describe as "a bad 50's gangster movie machine gun bullet line". It no longer produces a continuous line. Same brush settings, same everything, the only thing that changes is that I copy/paste the image into the blank background. Am I missing a setting somewhere? Please be patient with my replies, I'm still in the process of moving/househunting, so I'm using my personal laptop to access the forums while at home, but using my 24" monitors at work and cannot access forums due to the security settings on our network. Thanks in advance for the help, though! Quote
RabidAlien Posted May 25, 2018 Author Report Posted May 25, 2018 Aha moment!!! Found it. Brush settings, the "spacing" option. Dropped it down to 1 and I have a solid line again. 3Dface 1 Quote
