What Doctor Does That!

I am experiencing problems with my eyes.  Every thing is very fuzzy from cataracts plus I have very high pressure in my eyes that has to be controlled.  I have been waiting to have cataract surgery and a procedure to have stents implanted that hopefully will relieve the pressure.  Maybe even good enough that I can reduce the amount or eliminate the eye drops I have to put in my eyes daily..  I have been waiting for a doctor that can do the latest stent implant because it is suppose to be really good.  There have been no local doctors that do the procedure.  Okay today I get a call from a local doctor.  He does the cataract surgery and the stent implants.  He said he would be doing the cataract surgery for me,, and the implants.  He was calling to inform me of all my options available as far as the implants.  He called me at home!  We talked to at least 1/2 hour, him explaining and answering  my wife's and my questions.   Now all I have to do is get scheduled in... looks like it will be mid Sept to some time in Oct.  But, when was the last time a doctor called you at home just to go over things?  I am impressed.

That's old-time dedication ,the doctors today have a workload too great so they can take vacations often,pay off their new cars in a year ,fill their bank accounts to the brim etc,it;s all about money, same with the grocery store,it's all for making money not your health.
