Due to the hurricane, today was my first show in a month.  This event was actually supposed to be 2 weeks ago but due to downtown Wilmington being hit so hard by Florence it was delayed 2 weeks.

This was my first time doing this particular one along with 65 other vendors and things were going well... until a surprise downpour sprung up out of the blue.  I didn't even have time to get the walls up on my tent.  Really made a mess of things, but after it stopped, folks were right back out and shopping.  I had puzzles all over the place because my tablecloths got wet, etc.

Anyway, sold 42 puzzles and I even packed up an hour early because more rain was on the way and I didn't want to lose any more puzzles.

Next event in 2 weeks.  Big show, 2 day event in Topsail Island.  I haven't done this one before but have heard great things about it.

Nicely set up Scott.  At least they allowed you to set up on the street so that you would not be in the mud.  When I used to do outdoor events I always put up my tent with the sides available but rolled up.  Looks like you had a decent show though even with the rain. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Thanks DW, and yes, I was thinking the same thing... start attaching the walls during set up, roll 'em up and they'll be ready if needed.  I'm sure I'll continue saying "Nah, it's not gonna rain today, no need to attach the walls... "  LOL

Iggy,

glad to see things went well, today I was at the local market and there was a guy selling Puzzels we talked a bit and said that he has bought his patterns from you and teddy bear. I also noticed his price was 25 per dog puzzel, RJ

Cool, one of my puzzle zombies.  🙂  I wonder how he did and if he's able to get that same price that I charge.
