savethebeer Posted November 20, 2018 Report Posted November 20, 2018 For ages I have been undecided whether to sell my house and buy a clean one, or clean the one I have. So this very morning I finally decided to clean this one and guess what I found hidden under the lower shelves of my shop. I found lots of Zygiella x-notata, Eratigena atrica, Segestria senoculata, and Oligolophus tridens . I may have gotten some of those spiders Latin names wrong but its hard to really pin down the exact description when they are all running in all directions including right at me. I could not believe the amount of webs in hidden spaces in the shop. I have kept the shop cleanish for years but never bothered getting down on my knees to look under things, Anyway they no longer reside in my house, They are all now in my vacumn. For several weeks I have planned to actually paint my Christmas pressies rather than just leave them finished in BLO, except I keep chickening out of starting to paint and instead I make another Schwibboggen, promising myself that I will 'start right after I finish making this one'. Right now I have 13 Schwibboggen, varying in size between 9 inches and 18 inches. Most are, as below, front face in BBP and the rear one in white plastic, with the LEDs hot glued to the rear of the front face. I really need to give the key to my shop to a friend and tell her not to give it back to me until I have decorated every item. Some day soon I will post a picture to prove that I painted them. My problem is that I start looking at youtube to learn how to paint things in acrylic and then I look at videos on any one of about 50 other subjects. jerry1939 Posted November 20, 2018 Report Posted November 20, 2018 There should be a support group for people that start out looking for something specific on YouTube and 10 minutes later are learning how to talk to a unicorn. jerry amazingkevin, WayneMahler, meflick and 2 others 1 4 Quote
WayneMahler Posted November 20, 2018 Report Posted November 20, 2018 (edited) I think a lot of us suffer from that. I started watching a video on wood working and spent the next 3 hours watching lions Edited November 20, 2018 by WayneMahler amazingkevin and SCROLLSAW703 1 1 Quote

Rockytime Posted November 21, 2018 Report Posted November 21, 2018 You Tube is more entertaining than TV and more informative. It is You Tube that got me interested in scrolling. SCROLLSAW703 and amazingkevin 2 Quote
