Haven't I seen on here where folks have enlarged the table on their Hawk Scroll Saw? I was cutting my 21" x 25" reindeer bodies out and the kind of get tipsy on me and I thought "man it would be nice if the table was just a tad bit bigger".

So am I mistaking or has someone put something on the table to make it larger that what comes with the Hawk 226 saw?

Thanks

I just purchased a 3x5 or 3x6 ( can't remember which ) piece of rewritable board ( Masonite ) it was white for about $ 11.00 at Lowes. I like the white color. I did the same, cut it to the dimensions I wanted and used double sided tape to hold it down. It's been on for almost a year and still looks great.

I think what Grizz is referring to is called hardboard.  A 4'x8' sheet is under $11.00.  It also makes a good covering  for a work bench/table.

I have a sheet of this, and in fact tried scrolling it. The finish is flat white and should do well for enlarging your table.

I might have to make me a larger table for my Excalibur.. I don't seem to have any issues with the table size for the other saws.. I do larger work now and then and usually use the dewalt if I need more table support since it has the biggest table..
