jbrowning Posted January 8, 2019 Report Posted January 8, 2019 Well on December 31st they layed me off from work. It has been a week and I'm still kind of irritated about it. But it is getting easier to accept. This past weekend I did put together my CNC Machine and did get the hello world to print out so I'm pretty happy about that. Then this past Wednesday I went out and took some pictures. I will attach them to this posting. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. And should be on here more than normal. I can't wait for racing to start back up, but that won't be till May here in Colorado. Thanks for looking Jim Phantom Scroller, Scrolling Steve, bobscroll and 4 others 7 Quote

RabidAlien Posted January 8, 2019 Report Posted January 8, 2019 I'm finding that more and more companies have no loyalty to their employees anymore. Cryin shame....take care of your people, and your people will take care of you. Great photos, I love the B&W one. If you use a film camera, have you tried infrared film? It can be a hassle changing it (has to be handled in complete darkness, so order a darkbag from Amazon), but I love the surreal quality it adds. Color infrared shows a lot of red where an object reflects infrared, B&W will show a lot of white. B&W infrared has got to be my favorite film to shoot with. OCtoolguy 1 Quote
WayneMahler Posted January 8, 2019 Report Posted January 8, 2019 Companies are cutting the ones that will cost them the most . No loyalty to the employee. It's a sad fact, have been seeing this more and more in my area also . Loved the photo, absolutely stunning and serine. Makes me want to be there and just enjoy nature. wombatie Posted January 9, 2019 Report Posted January 9, 2019 What a great way for your employers to say Happy New Year to you. They expect loyalty but do not give it. I hope you find another job soon, in the mean time keep taking more awesome photos. Marg OCtoolguy 1 Quote
