Well on December 31st they layed me off from work. It has been a week and I'm still kind of irritated about it. But it is getting easier to accept. This past weekend I did put together my CNC Machine and did get the hello world to print out so I'm pretty happy about that. Then this past Wednesday I went out and took some pictures. I will attach them to this posting. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.  And should be on here more than normal. I can't wait for racing to start back up, but that won't be till May here in Colorado.

I'm finding that more and more companies have no loyalty to their employees anymore.  Cryin shame....take care of your people, and your people will take care of you.

Great photos, I love the B&W one.  If you use a film camera, have you tried infrared film?  It can be a hassle changing it (has to be handled in complete darkness, so order a darkbag from Amazon), but I love the surreal quality it adds.  Color infrared shows a lot of red where an object reflects infrared, B&W will show a lot of white.  B&W infrared has got to be my favorite film to shoot with.

I am sorry to hear that your company laid you off and in the middle of the holidays. I pray that you will find the other door that is opening as this one has closed.  your pictures are beautiful.  thanks for sharing.  I look forward to you being able to participate more here in the Village. Happy New Year to you and yours.
