I am almost finished with the image from a Gadsen flag. Should be receiving some Veining blades today. My question, have to cut outline of upper mouth and Fangs, where to drill, start?

Drill a hole in the black between the two teeth.  Use a small bit that will fit in the black. Like a #60 or smaller.  Same with the lip.  I can't tell how big that area is from the picture.  You of coarse may have to go to a smaller blade to cut that area.  Doesn't matter where you drill the hole to start... as long as it fits in a black area.

Paul yes that is my query, just got 2/0 Olson 44000 Skip tooth, 28 TPI, also a set of small drill bits. Didnt want to finish with blades I had.

One tool I've found to help drilling the tiny entry holes square is a plunge router base for my dremel (Huge thanks to member MrsN. It was in reading one of her posts a while back that I learned of this). I had been using a drill press for the longest time but found it diffucult at times to get to the inner holes in some of the larger works. Using the router with my dremel allows my to drill the holes exactly where I need them, and if I need an entry hole at say 4 degrees, I simply shim one side of the base to get the angle needed.

Thanks I bought an inexpensive Wen on amazon, multi speed and also some smaller collets, hope to do the same thing.
