Hi All,

A buddy of mine is looking to commission a piece, but the kicker is, he would like to see your work, first hand. He is looking for someone top notch and knows work like is not cheap. He's willing to travel around 75-100 miles to see your work, and lives just outside the 495 belt in Massachusetts. Below is an example of work made for him years ago, the artist has since passed away. Certainly way out of my skillset.

If he wants to commission the piece from image to finished intarsia piece his best bet would be some of the preeminent Intarsia people out there which would be Judy Gale Roberts at intarsia.com or Kathy Wise, Jeannette Square or Bruce Worthington.  Problem is, if he wants to see in person their work, they are not anywhere close to him. Judy is in East TN just outside of Knoxville,  Kathy is in Michigan I think or that general area.  Jeannette I believe is on the west coast and not sure where Bruce is but pretty sure he is not in the North East are of the country.  Judy and Kathy both have a larger number of animals and dogs on their sites.  I know all 3 of the women do commission work and all 3 are excellent with dogs.  He may have to work with someone not close to his local unfortunately.
