Covid-19 Shelf...Finished

This was actually the wife's project that I somehow got roped into completing.

Anyway, she found a particle board shelf similar to this, and wanted to restore it but I put my foot down and said "No, it's a piece of junk. We can make better."

So "we" made this one from 1/2" plywood leftovers, and shavings from pine boards cut to size for the veneer. Stained with Colonial maple, finished with 3 coats poly gloss.

Maybe that's one way to get the shelf she asked you to make for her long ago, just saying, They have a way of getting what they want.
