Spent Saturday afternoon planting tomatoes. It’s been a couple of years since I’ve done so. The last time I planted tomatoes, they were completely eaten by the next morning. I don’t have any idea what ate them, but they were chewed down to little nubs. I’m hoping they make it this year. They are all heirlooms. They are a little harder to grow, but the end product is worth the effort. I love to cut up heirlooms and marinate them in a Raspberry and walnut vinaigrette. During the summer, I serve them with ever dinner!

PS, yes, I know I have to mow the weeds.... I mean the lawn!

I wish you the best.. Love fresh tomatoes and rabbits love the plants.

As little plants, cutworms will destroy them and to stop cutworms you

need to put little toothpick size stakes in the ground next to the stalk of the plant.

Mouth watering especially the cherry tomatoes.

Since we are on lock down (Corvid -19) we decided to plant some left over seed that my son bought so this is new to us.. We usually buy plants and then do certain things from seed.. So the seed he bought last year we plated in a old egg carton.. if they sprout great... if not we still have time to buy plants.. as we usually wait until mid may to plant the garden...

We had spring last week.. temps in the upper 50 and 60's all week... this week... well it snowed yesterday.. high temps have been 40's at best, LOL
