I wondered if any of you clever young folks can explain to me what has happened to YouTube.  For some time I've gone there mostly for videos on woodworking and chess. I created a Personal Playlist to save really good stuff. And I had a list of channels I subscribed to so I could easily access new content. None of that seems to exist any longer. What Happened???? Feel free to PM me is that helps.

I don't know YouTube and I'm not a clever young folk.

I would blame it on YouTube20, similar to CV19

Beginning in January 2020, YouTube will dramatically curtail the data it collects for videos marked as “made for kids.” That will disable numerous features — including the ability to serve targeted advertising on those videos...

I ran into this before. I just needed to log back in. Funny that I never logged out but I guess the Gremlins got involved. Make sure you are logged in to it.

When you log into youtube they give you a cookie.. I guess you didn't eat it fast enough and it expired so they ate it.. Logging back in they give you a new cookie.. if you don't eat it.. eventually they'll eat it for you again.. and you'll need to re- log in.. All sites do this..and it makes me mad when they steal my cookie.. because by that time I've done forgot my password to get a new cookie..
