tgiro Posted August 9, 2020 Report Posted August 9, 2020 Nope - not sick or infected. The wife had another surgery on her hip and I've spent the past few weeks bouncing between caring for her and my Lowes job. She's almost up and about again. For a few weeks I was the chief cook & bottle washer, laundry maid, house keeper, butler, and chauffeur. I really ran things around my house for awhile - I ran the vacuum cleaner, the dish washer, the washer & dryer, the lawn mower. I can brag that I'm now fully domesticated, after 51 years of marriage. jerry1939 Posted August 10, 2020 Report Posted August 10, 2020 Re: the fire hose through the car windows. I once read that if a car is parked in front of a needed fire hydrant, the firefighters break a window on each side to string the hose through. Nice bunch of funnies. Thanks Friend. And good luck calling your insurance company on that one. Quote
