  1. Just used one for a base coat and liked the flexibility. Navy Blue satin went on smooth.
  2. The mix of woods and your shaping really add quite a bit of detail to this piece.
  3. When you talk about getting the kerf dialed in just right, I feel that if you aim for 1 inch and come out at 15/16"--it still fits nicely in a 1" hole. Some will disagree, but it will give a bit of flexibility with the glue up.
  4. Excellent job on cutting and painting. And, a big shout to @alexfoxfor a great pattern.
  5. He did charge a modest S&H on those, but it was worth it. My schedule is packed for the next 10 days or so, but I am willing to collaborate with folks on a design after that.
  6. Something about old technology. Great cutting. Lots of entry holes.
  7. Those would be a great addition to any yard! (If you ever decide to give them a new home--I might know of a place .)
  8. You mentioned friendliness and you will find the scrolling community holds no secrets. Tips and techniques are freely shared. We ALL had questions when we started and have learned from each other's problems and solutions. So, ask away and someone will be along to give you an answer. Just remember the price paid for said answer.
  9. Great looking piece.
  10. Didn't pick it up to examine, but saw cans of 77 today in Staples. Looked like new packaging.
  11. I also work on the patio and most days I have a slight breeze which keeps most of the dust away from me. But, I still use a blower to periodically clean the table and undercarriage. And then a leaf blower sends all the drop outs into the grass!
  12. Warm greetings from Central Indiana. No question is off limits here and no one hides any techniques.
  13. You might even have a T25 in some bit kit you already have.
  14. To quote the great craftsman and philosopher Red Green: "We're all pullin' for ya." Pay attention to the docs and when the time comes-- your therapist.
