Vector01 Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 Hey! I was close...I should of got points for fret saw I found it! Quote
Travis Posted April 7, 2009 Report Posted April 7, 2009 Hrmmmm...I thought a fretsaw refers to the handheld saw, so I'm going to say a Scroll Saw. Made by Barnes company in the early 1900's. I think they were based out of Illinois. Now they invented the perfect scroll saw in my opinion. This scroll saw includes a swing down drill! Now that's just waaaaay too cool. Why don't modern saws have that? Quote
blame Posted April 7, 2009 Author Report Posted April 7, 2009 lol good job travis you got the company but the scroll saw has a specific name The boring attachment can be furnished at any time, if not desired when ordering the machine. date of the machine was 1885 cost new was 23 bucks with the boring attachment 20 bucks without Quote
