cjswoodcrafts Posted May 10, 2011 Report Posted May 10, 2011 Made the smaller one yesterday, the taller one today, both out of oak, from the tree branch that fell in yard Quote
WolfmoonCT Posted May 11, 2011 Report Posted May 11, 2011 Nice use of it. Is it still green wood? Quote

WolfmoonCT Posted May 12, 2011 Report Posted May 12, 2011 Just watch out for cracking and warping as it dries. Quote
Travis Posted May 13, 2011 Report Posted May 13, 2011 Those look great! I've only turned one goblet. They're a lot of fun to do. Just watch out for cracking and warping as it dries. I think with greenwood, if you put it in a plastic bag with a tiny bit of ventilation, it will dry without cracking. I think it takes a couple months to do. That's what I've read, anyway. I haven't tried it myself. Quote
