Yes you can! That is what I use to make word art. I have found American Typewriter font the best. Then you have to take the letter spacing to almost 0.0 or less (Negative) and then hit the MELD button to bring them together. I also cut it out on cardstock so I can reuse the patterns over and over. Let me know what questions you have.

Golly, I bet my Niece does not know she can do this.

Very interesting, I'll let you know about questions.

Thank you.

Larry, my Daughter got a Cricut machine from Santy and I was amazed at the versatility, I've started wondering the same thing the same thing about scroll patterns.

Fedido, just wondering about cardstock as a reuseable material if you are sticking the pattern to the wood?

But you can use different materials.

Not all sticky

@savethebeer, When I say reusable, I don't stick the pattern to the wood, but rather trace the outline with a black sharpie. sometimes the lines get close, but that is when I use one side of the line or the other. Once the pattern is traced, I save it for future tracing.

I've seen card board stencils put on a carton or wood and given a shot of black spray paint. One time found a specific stencil spray paint.

In the oldly days of boot camp we were given our names stenciled on card stock. Sat on the floor with a 'stencil pen'[ coloring or names on to clothes.

Also know one teaching site that uses stencils to spray paint signs and patterns, then freehand routes the sign. RJF
