I grew up near Glacier National Park in Montana. My great Grandfather helped build the Going-To-The-Sun road up to Logan Pass there in the park, so it's always fun to watch and listen to the progress of the snowplows up there. They usually have the road open by mid June. NOT THIS YEAR! They have a lot more snow this year, mostly because it's been so cold, so far into the year up here. Here are some pictures as of yesterday June 23. They still have a couple miles to go and they haven't even got to the "Big Drift" yet which is typically anywhere from 40-60 feet deep on normal years! Amazing!
