Popular Post Ken Lotts Posted April 1, 2021 Popular Post Report Posted April 1, 2021 The wife and I have been doing a few puzzles this year. One came with a cardboard stand to hold the box so you could see the picture while building the puzzle.. Well, I was compelled to build a stronger version of the stand using some scrap pine. Everything was just eye balled and glued but even so, it looks cool. Fun stuff Birchbark, smitty0312, TexasDIY and 7 others 10 Quote

oldhudson Posted April 1, 2021 Report Posted April 1, 2021 Very useful project. I think I'll put that on the to do list. If you can provide any rough dimensions it would be great. Is the stock 1/4"? Thanks Ken Lotts 1 Quote
munzieb Posted April 1, 2021 Report Posted April 1, 2021 Great idea!. We have been doing 1K puzzles also. The one puzzle we ordered from Amazon had a very small picture on the box so we went to the copy store for an enlargement. We also ordered puzzle piece trays. I guess I could have built them but I wanted to save my wood for other projects. We really like the Ingoood puzzles. They have the full size pictures and are lettered on the back so you can do a section at a time. They also sell a sealer to keep the puzzle together. I have been making the frames from picture frame stock they sell at Lowes. Gold antique paint from Hobby Lobby. It goes a long way. Ken Lotts 1 Quote

I threw in a few dimensions but I think you should be able to print to scale. Quote
