Maybe 20 or so years ago I may have attempted to rebuild a saw, not anymore. I just might take a good look at the King 16" scroll saw over at Woodcraft. Seems to be a solid machine. Yes, it's more money. I really need a smaller saw for the small space I am going to set up for. Plus, I just can't haul those larger saws around anymore. I just may put my 9 year old, like new EX 21 for sale on our local Craigslist.. Thanks for your input Kevin Ben I have the king Excelsior 21 and I love it. ben2008 and OCtoolguy 2 Quote
kmmcrafts Posted July 19, 2021 Report Posted July 19, 2021 Bushton / RBI also sells a table top legs set.. Think the legs are only about 8" tall, LOL.. I've seen them but not 100% sure they still sell them.. OCtoolguy 1 Quote

I saw it on Amazon for $499.00 plus tax and free shipping. I have a 21 EX that is about 9 years old and works just fine. Its a China made saw. I would avoid it. You can get a chinese wen for less. They have a new model that is a parallel link drive for $370. If you want a 16” try to get a new King or an older Excalibur. OCtoolguy 1 Quote
