Wichman Posted October 25, 2021 Report Posted October 25, 2021 This is for you Hegner users out there. How much can you tilt your table? Have you used the short stroke option and did it affect the table tilt? OCtoolguy 1 Quote
Scrappile Posted October 25, 2021 Report Posted October 25, 2021 Mine will tilt 45°. to the left and 12° to the right... I loosen the bolt that goes into the gauge an move the table the direction I want to tilt... I removed the long bolt with the knob from my saw and replaced it with a. allen head bolt... The long bolt/knob got in my way. Understand,,, I have never tilted my table yet,, but that is how I would try to do it.. I have never used the stroke option... OCtoolguy and Jim Finn 1 1 Quote
Wichman Posted November 16, 2021 Author Report Posted November 16, 2021 I stumped the answer desk, they are calling the next level for an answer: When I adjust the table angle past the 32 degree mark, the lower arm hits the round extrusion that holds the pivot bolt. Would the other Hegner owners do a quick check and see if the problem is only my saw? OCtoolguy 1 Quote
Scrappile Posted November 16, 2021 Report Posted November 16, 2021 Anyway you could post a picture of what you are describing? May make it easier.. OCtoolguy 1 Quote
Wichman Posted November 24, 2021 Author Report Posted November 24, 2021 No pictures yet, trying to concentrate on the upcoming fair. Hegner called back, says I need to change to the short stroke, I'll try it Sunday. OCtoolguy 1 Quote
